[working title]

So, we went to Ueno station to meet howesan's friend, Anne. There was some random festival going on and we also were at teh wrong entrance at first so it took about 45 minutes to find her.

Together we ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe in the station.


There was a reaaaaly creepy maniquin there. (there was an equally frightening female one outside...)


Then we all went to the Ueno zoo.

World's largest rodents... i don't remember what they were called but they're pig-sized guineapigs.

then the three of us then went around the subway station and saw a fun shirt shop.

then we walked by the festival thing going on


and we had some kaiten zushi. This guy made a giant wasabi frog!

then we went back to akasaka and went by the ninja bar.

but sadly, we went inside and apparently we had to have reservations even to go to the bar area...
btu as we were leaving, a group of women were leaving and their ninja escorted them out. We took a pic with her.

It was really awesome because immediately after another goup of people left and their ninja did a backflip and then unrolled a scroll that said the equivelent of -hope you come back soon- or something like that.

so... we went to a karioke place because howesan had lots of fun the night before and Anne hadn't been.

This place had an intersting selection of songs... partridge family, power rangers... ha!
They had some awesome disney songs.

Then we went back home and Anne left us at the karioke place to head back via the marunouchi line.
