So, today we went to the Imperial Palace Gardens (with a few stops... and me getting us lost repeatedly)
First, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of sugar and cardboard... lucky charms. (howesan says it's awesome cardboard)
I haven't had cardboard... cereal in a really long time... i missed it so.
Then we ventured into the subway... where we saw:
It comes out on the 22nd, so i'll see it both here and at home becuase i have a sneaking suspicious that they'll dub it...grrr
Then, on the way to the palace, i made us jump off the subway so we could go to Hibiya Park. Look! it's a fountain.
There were some CRAZY CRAZY people there...
We have no idea what was going on... but... they sang.
AHHHH THE "SINGING"
Superspeed!
Looks like repeated seppuku... but whatever.
Then we enjoyed the lovely view of a fountain as we wandered around Hibiya trying to get to the palace.... we eventually hopped on the subway because it was about a mile or so away...

As you can see, here is the Imperial Moat, with two Imperal Swan.

What you didn't know about the Imperial Moat was that within its murky depths lies... THE IMPERIAL MAN-EATING CARP!

Then we hit up the gardens. This was the only blooming area that we saw... But it was pretty nontheless
It's so Japanesey...
An Imperial Guard Duck! It started quacking at the Impereal Swan when he tried to storm the Imperial Moat Wall... or something.
The Imperial Swan contemplates the Imperial Man-Eating Carp... good thing it's not an Imperial Swan-eating Carp... that's for sure...
An Imperial Man-Eating-Carp-Eating Turtle (a turtle that eats Man-Eating Carp)!
The very same territorial Imperial Duck! Isn't he cute?!
More Man-Eating Carp... I apparently took more pictures of the Moat than the gardens.... I rock.
Ok, here's part of the park-area outside of the gardens. Trees!
And howesan found an interesting location on the map:
Then we had some lunch!
Next we went to the Imperial Theater, but they were playing what appeared to be a crappy musical entitled "me and my girl" so we didn't get tickets... then we went to the International Forum. It's so futuristic!
And here's a futuristic information booth!
(we wanted to go in one of the convention rooms but we stuck out like sore thumbs.. because we weren't japanese and because we weren't in business suits.... but mostly because we didn't have name tags)
Then we hit up Shibuya to get an engrish shirt.

We found some awesome 50 dollar shirts and one not incredibly expensive shirt but they didn't have it in her size. zannenda!

Then we went out to dinner where i got us lost again. but we got pretty much the same thing we had for lunch. yatta!
all in all, we walked about 7 or so miles... that's the min, i think it was more. meh.
