Basically, All the days in red are days I have class on campus, or at least something due on campus. Blue days are days i need to be on campus for at least a little while because I have something to do. the rest are free. this results in 3 6-day weekends. the rest of the weekends will be 4-day weekends except for next week.

to get this, i had to change my schedule a bit, by dropping into to east asia: Japan (which was almost exactly the same material as my japanese culture class) and i picked up metropolitan tokyo, which rocks. the guy takes us around tokyo a few times and, like on tuesday, and it'll be rockin'. so i dropped a crap class (it was really unorganized and the teachers- that's right, 2 of them- were really robotic germans. not even kidding. after the class, literally 6 people went downstairs to drop the class)
so yeah, my schedule rocks, except for the 8:30am-9:30pm classes on tues, but the late tuesday class is taught by this really funny british guy so it keeps me awake and entertained.

ok, i had a really long post and then firefox died so i'm attempting to rewrite it. but well... sorry.

So, here's the story of Thursday.
It was the first day of loooong classes. I don't know if I explained this already, but I dropped my MWF class because it reaaaaly sucked. It was Into to East Asia: Japan, and it was taught by two disorganized German robots. seriously. they had no personality. none. and it was the same material covered in my Japanese clulture class, so i figured, meh. whatever. I added Metropolitan Tokyo instead, which is a rockin' course. The teacher takes us around Tokyo a few times during class and I'm really excited. It'll be a great opportunity to learn about where I'll be staying and plus, it gives me the awesome schedule above.
So, my schedule:
8:30-10:50 Metropolitan Tokyo
11:00-1:20 Intensive Oral Japanese
LUNCH
2:10-4:30 Japanese Culture
BREAK/DINNER
7:10-9:30 East Asia and the United States

it's a long day. in class from 8:30-9:30, but it's awesome and i like all my teachers.
And, since it's a really long day- i'm going to metro. Because I'd be crazy not to. I need to leave at 7:30~45 and i get back at 10:15~30.... yeah.. i'm just beat by the end of the day.

so... here's the metro!
(actually, this is where I transfer..but it's one stations. Notice the abundant use of "english" you really don't need to know that much japanese to get around in tokyo.

Asakusa ->Tameike-sanno = kokkai-gijidomei -> azabu-juban.
it's got 2 station names because it's really huge and basically connects 2 close stations underground and allows you to transfer lines. wheee.

and the open and close door buttons BOTH work. like you push the close button and the door closes. immediately. and they move fast but you don't really feel it. elevators here rock.
