sunday we slept in (yes!) and then eventually made our way to shinjuku on our way to the ghibli museum.
our first detour was the stop we made at the post box. Howesan sent some lovely postcards.
look! howesan got on the subway. it's amazing!
then at shinjuku we walked around a very pricey mall and felt mucho out of place... but it was fun.
Then we went to the mitaka station and met most of my class on our way to the museum.
look how excited howesan is about the ghibli bus!
ha, it's a Uni-cone!
ok.. now she just looks possessed, but i can only assume i's more crazy excitement...

At the museum we weren't allowed to take pictures inside so here are some pics of the outside. Here's the cafe.
and here's howesan wither her favorite neighbor!
on our walk back from the museum to the station we saw an awesome car.
then we had a nice dinner where the waitress was really nice.
and i acted like a child and played with my food

Then i bought a sunflower because it was really cute and only 2 bucks.
Yay!
