Today I'm going to a Japanese art thing sponsored by the Pacific Culture Club at TUJ. Maybe, if it's not too late and i'm not too tired/whatever, we'll go to an onsen. that'll be kinda neat.

[about Wednesday]
Wednesday (yesterday) I went to the Ueno Zoo. Basically, Ueno is a big park with looots of stuff to do. There're a billion museums and a zoo and temples and stuff. And before we Even got the park, we got lost.
Here's a neat statue by the train station. It's pretty neat.
and when we were looking for the park we crossed this bridge with two fountains on it.
Oh, and some places in Tokyo are nice in that you can't smoke everywhere. In case you forgot.. the sidewalk will remind you.
Since Ueno is also a JR station and not just a metro station, there wa suica stuff everywhere.

At one point you can keep going in the park or walk down some stairs into this area with a lake-thingy. we kept going in the shade, but here's a pic.
Random Temple:
Oh, Here's a kitty.
Another random temple with artists everywhere. they were all really good.
Ok this is kind of tiny but basically it says:
after we bombed Hiroshima some guy went back to his house which was on fire and took some of the flame with him. That flame is still burning... rememeber what sort of destruction was caused and don't do it agian.

AHHH! It's an elephant statue coming to kill us all!
Bears. They looked like puppies though.
Video: Here's the red panda walking. He was pretty OCD. A lot of the animals were. I think it's because they were in reaaaly small spaces.(by US standards at least)
Ling Ling, the panda. (What're the names of the DC pandas? the name just doesn't seem that unique)

it was raining by that time so all the animals that were outside were either going inside their encloseure thingies or just chillin'
And then the zoo closed at 4:30 so i went home. and chilled. like the penguins.
